Mower Flush for Cleaning Lawnmower Decks available for license:

The Mower Flush for Cleaning Lawnmower Decks washes the blades of a riding lawnmower after you've cut the grass. The rider simply rides the mower over the Mower Flush board and turns the water on. It sprays the mower deck clean to eliminate the build-up of dead grass -- without having to even leave your seat! The prototype works great and has received much positive feedback. 

It includes a shut-off valve (see the last picture below) located at arm's length so the rider can switch the Mower Flush on and off without having to get off the lawn mower. The Mower Flush's basic construction consists of a ground-level board approximately 5 feet long and 10 inches wide, with a copper tube and a perforated T-takeoff adjacent to the copper tube.


The Mower Flush is connected to a pressurized water source:


The rider drives the lawn mower over the Mower Flush with the blade running. The upward-facing perforations spray water under the mower deck and flushes out the debris and dead grass:
